Accessibility Statement
Last updated 2026-02-04
YouConcierge is committed to making this Site usable for as many visitors as possible, including people using assistive technology.
What We've Built In
- A "skip to content" link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation menus, dropdowns, the Weekly Concierge Planner, and the Checklist Center — nothing requires a mouse or touch gesture, including reordering and moving planner items.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Text and background color combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast guidelines.
- Form fields with associated text labels, not placeholder text alone.
- Status messages (like checklist progress or planner confirmations) announced to screen readers via live regions.
- Information that is never conveyed by color alone — status is also shown with text or icons.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences set at the operating system level.
- A print-friendly layout for guides, checklists, and your weekly plan.
- Core guide and category content that renders fully without JavaScript; our interactive tools require JavaScript to function, since they depend on in-browser calculation and storage.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time checklist. We periodically review the Site against WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and address issues as we find them.
Known Limitations
If you encounter a barrier using this Site — a control that doesn't work with your assistive technology, insufficient contrast, or confusing labeling — we want to know about it.
Contact Us About Accessibility
Please report accessibility issues to [email protected] with a description of the issue, the page involved, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We'll do our best to address it promptly.
